SEQUINS & ANGEL WINGS

I have a weekend of partying ahead of me - it's a hard life - so I had to get a new piece to wear. Anything else would just be total madness... I have found myself going for more simple pieces I guess you could say rather than something crazy & totally on trend. Pieces that will carry me through. This sequined top from Zara is a good example, it is a really simple, interesting piece that can be worn in so many ways. It was only £19.99 & I totally love it! I am planning on wearing it with a bandage skirt or jeans & some heels.

I also got this little angel wing red string bracelet this week from ebay, it is so pretty and simple. It was posted really nicely too. I did get some half wet look-half normal leggings from Misguided but they were wayyy to short. Like half down my calf too short - was not a good look!

Something very exciting is happening on Saturday at 11am but all will be revealed very soon... I was at the gym this morning & totally loved it. I am getting back in to it so much - my fitness and stamina are at an all time high, it is just making me feel so much better about myself!

My loving is the way to go

I don't know why this picture is slightly blurry, my camera is being weird today but you can get the jist of it. Red jeans, studded belt & the rest black! I love my red jeans. I bought an amazing top in Zara today - I will show you soon, it is just so amazing.

Not much else has been happening just the usual, uni goes back in two weeks & I have a few nights out the next few weeks so might squeeze in a couple of outfits from them as I always do daytime looks.

Had a little down when I was contacted by someone I really don't want to be contacted by. He doesn't deserve my time & definitely not my tears but I just need to be strong & ignore him. He isn't my prince charming that is for sure!

THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS

Bit of a different post featuring some beauty products that I have been really impressed with lately, not many just four but I didn't want to bombard you with lots of products! So the four I've decided to feature are ...

Superdrug Natural High 12 hour day cream.

This was about £2.50 odd in Superdrug - obviously - it is a fabulous cream! Nice, thick consistency that really does keep your skin hydrated for at least 12 hours. My make up applies really nicely over the top and for £2 odd you can't really go wrong! Definitely would recommend this.

Barbara Daly Make up Concealer.

I bought this on a whim when I was food shopping, it was about £4.95 which isn't too bad for a good under eye concealer. I picked this up in fair which is a little light for me but really brightens up underneath my eyes, a little goes along way so I'm guessing this will last a while but when it does eventually run out I will be repurchasing!

Barry M Nail polish in Navy.

An old favourite, a nice change from black nails, looks perfect with a tan. It is just a really gorgeous colour.

Clinique Super moisture make up.

This is my go-to foundation. My skin is pretty dry so this along with the Superdrug cream keeps me moisturised all day along with giving a lovely dewy finish. It isn't a full, heavy coverage so looks quite natural and nice. I am for sure a Clinique convert. 100%.

So that is a few products I'm liking at the moment. Not too much else has been happening lately, I came home for a few days before uni starts back in a few weeks. I've not been doing too much - gym, work, not going out in order to save much needed money. Exciting. I started pilates classes which I am really enjoying. They are helping with my back pains so s'all good. x

MAKE MINE A PAPAYA PUNCH

I absolutely love this lipstick by Sleek in Papaya Punch. It is a orange coral with a matte finish, so bright and summery. I love it! I am without a doubt going to buy a few more Sleek lipsticks. I was thinking of making a few videos just for something different, let me know if that is something you would be interested in.

I am working all weekend then going to see my mum & dad on Sunday night which I am so excited about, I love their house! x

GOLD CHAIN IS ALWAYS IN FASHION

I seem to have got a bit of a thing for black things with gold chain detail. I bought this Marc B Chelsea bag about four years ago from ASOS but later returned it thinking I didn't like it, now four years on I wanted it again. I got it off ebay this time for £11.50, more affordable than the £40 price point. It is as good as new & I am very happy with it.

I got these little loafers in New Look for £17, I think, I love them! So comfy & add a little interest to a pair of jeans & plain tshirt. I need new flats anyway so might as well get some interesting ones. I am now on a shopping ban for the foreseeable future, lately I've been spending like a crazy woman!

RUFFLES & RINGS...

Little bit of H&M never hurt anyone. I love H&M especially for jewerelly that isn't too pricey & tops - basic or with a little detail. This top is just a simple navy blue t shirt material but has pretty ruffle detail on the shoulders which makes it a bit more interesting than a plain navy top. This ring is just amazing, I bought it a wee while ago but it is massive, a real statement piece. It always gets compliments.

I got home from work today to a number of lovely comments from this blogger - she really cheered me up & was so sweet. Go check out her blog, she has amazing charity shop find & seems a lovely person.

I'm not too sure what I have coming up this week, going to try & not get so bored I end up in the shops whether this will happen is another story. I really want some loafers, I do need new black flats...

Hope you all had a lovely weekend x

BROWN & GOLD

This is what I wore the other day just to run some errands. I love this jumper, it's so comfy & easy to wear. I wore brown eyeliner for a change with this outfit & am without a doubt going to wear it again soon, it is much softer than black although I still love black liner, brown is a nice change for a softer look.

WINTER WARMERS...

Technically only one item from my little shopping spree yesterday can be classed as a 'winter warmer' but I didn't go crazy & will 100% wear the stuff that I did buy.

I got these gorgeous tassel like earrings from H&M for £3.99. I had seen them a few times but had always talked myself out of getting them but I'm glad I did. They are really gorgeous & simple but still a little bit different. I got them in the gold & am planning on wearing them on my next night out.

These 'leather' shorts were on sale in Warehouse - originally £45, reduced a few times then finally down to £10. When I got to the till I was told there was a further 20% off sale items so I got them for £8 - how good is that! I love them, my friends not so much but I think they are really simple & classic but with a edgy twist as they are 'leather'.

Finally, I got these two tops from H&M. Both cropped which I have never braved before but I think with high waisted things they will look really nice. I had wanted the jumper for ages but again had always talked myself out of it, it was the last three in - I had to buy it! I love the elbow patches, that is why I wanted it so badly. It is just so cute! The other top is just a simple black cropped t shirt which I'm not sure how I will wear yet. Some suggestion would be much appreciated!

Hope you are all well! x

SHE WORE GOLD & PINK

I have really gotten in to lipsticks recently. I just love the feeling of wearing a lipstick, it takes a while to get used to having the colour on your lips but I am starting to really like it. The lipstick I am wearing today is a 17 lasting fix in Hawaiian Pink. I love it. I am not an overly pink girl but I love this pink.

My outfit was pretty simple today - camel jeans, sandals & a cream tee with a Primark cuff which I love & a little pop of colour with the lipstick. It is a really simple, pretty look. I also got my hair cut again. It desperately needed done. I am happy with the outcome which is always good!

MY NEW BOUDOIR

As I mentioned once or twice I have moved flat - too a much nicer, brighter, more homely flat which after one week I am already so much happier. I love my new room. It is spacious, has high ceilings, a walk in wardrobe - simply amazing. My only moan is the walls are sunshine yellow...

It is a student flat so isn't amazing but I love how I've decorated my room. The desk is pretty ugly so I wanted to make it more ascetically pleasing, I bought some pink vintage looking wrapping paper for the top of the desk. To tie it in I put a small square on top of my dresser as well, I really like the finished look.

The last picture is my walk in wardrobe - this is an absolute dream. I love this feature in room. My room is very pink and girly which I wasn't expecting especially not the pink but I like it.

Animal print is love

I have a massive love for leopard print & have been searching for some leopard print heels for a while. It can be difficult to find a pair that are not cheap looking but this week I found such a pair. They were £15 (£13.50 with student discount) in the Dorothy Perkins sale. I wore them out last night, my feet weren't sore not even after dancing!

I also got this little red floral top from a charity shop this week for £3.69. I'm thinking of styling it with some jeans & a blazer or a black bandage skirt & some wedges. It is by Ann Harvey & was one of those pieces I saw in the window everyday I walked past so eventually gave in! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend, look out for a post soon with my new room.

Long time no blog!

I moved flat on Monday and have been internet-less since then. Bored doesn't even describe how I felt but I am back online now so can blog & read blogs to my hearts content. I am thinking of doing a post on my new room which I am really happy with atm.

A quick photo of my new obsession ... white nails. I love them. Some people may say it is a little tippex fingery but I am really loving wearing white nail polish at the moment. I went for  Barry M's version and am most defintely not disappointed! I am off out tonight so will hopefully like my outfit & do a post on! Have a lovely weekend everyone! x
