I got your email you just don't get females now do you...

Since I haven't been blogging much I thought I would show you a few pcitures of what I have been up to apart from uni. To be honest not much other than uni and going out!
I really wanted a job though - bored of wearing the same clothes on nights out... Christmas list is a list of clothes! I would put up ones from all my nights out but there is just too many, don't think they would really be interesting anyway but here is a few. The second one is form my 20th Birthday Party. We had a party in my flat and all got dressed up. I was a witch (as I am sure you would all have guessed!) Was a bit of a thrown together costume - pointy hat, stripey tights and a black dress I wear every other day but hey ho least I made some effort...

I'm a wild one, I'm a wild one!

Helllo =D
So I had two essays to write for uni and they are done, just need to be handed in & I had an exam which I passed wooo 72%. Smarty pants over here :P
So now I am on Christmas holidays =D Started them off with Wild Child and Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging and as a 20 year old I am ashamed to say I love these movies!
Anyways, I will be updating more often now seen as I have nothing to do!

Everytime I see a picture of Erin Lucas she makes me want my fringe back, maybe when my hair has grown a touch. We shall see... x

Love Olivia's style...

Thursday 19 November 2009

Erotic Robotic despite the accent we're Scottish

I'm still loving Lauren Conrad's style. Some of her stuff recently I've not been a massive fan of but this outfit I really like. Think it is the fact there is a blazer in there - can't beat a blazer! I'm a not really a fan of her hair anymore, I prefered in when it was a side parting but that's jsut my opinion!

Not sure if I'm going out tonight - not heard from my friend yet but hopefully I am because I am looking forward to a night out in Glasgow! It's been too long!!
I'll do a post soon with pictures from Edinburgh =D x

Thursday 12 November 2009

Ste me free why don't you babe...

Helllo ...
Sorry not blogged in a while but I have been super busy with uni work and life really!
I will start blogging more regularly soon, promise!
What I've been up to ...
I had my 20th birthday - had a little party in my flat which was good fun. Been out and about - hitting the clubs :p and getting on with uni work really. Nothing to exciting.
I tumblr a lot now so go check that for more frequent updates = D
Hope you are all well. Have a good weekend x

Sunday 25 October 2009

Think I want you still but there may be pills at work...

This is my OOTN for last night ... after much help from girls on Twitter I decided to go for this blue skirt from Topshop with a black vest top and short cardigan. I also wore a patent skinny waist belt and some black tights.
Hope everyone had a good weekend x

Saturday 24 October 2009

Come on baby we ain't gonna live forever, let me show you all the things we could do..

Hello =) ...

I got my haircut - went for the chop. It really needed it, in the picture it doesn't look as short as it actually is but it is pretty short compared to what it was before and I really like it. Styling time is cut in half! Always a plus :P

This is just a picture of the other night when we went out - always seem to wear that Topshop dress, I do love it so. I asked for a few more similar ones for my birthday so hopefully I can mix it up a little.

Anyways, uni has been pretty mad - work is coming in thick and fast now which is never good. Having a little panic about a couple of presentations - not from fear of doing them - just because I am not 100% sure about what I am meant to talk about. My plan is to simply do my best - that is all I can really do after all!

I am still really loving Lo - she always looks really classy. I love her sequin top, very in fashion at the moment :)

Hope everyone is well and is having a good weekend.

Take care x

Monday 12 October 2009

Let me be your supernova, before you make the biggest mistake of your life

As some of you may know I have moved away from home for uni - ok, it's not exactly outer Mongolia - but it is a big step!
It can be scary at times; having to pay rent, get food and generally just manage your time well oh and house work (yuck!)
Since being here I have been enjoying myself but I have been letting skincare and haircare slip a touch. A few too many beverages has led to passing out with a full face of make up! Fair enough there are a million other things that are worse but spots get on my nerves!
Not taking off my make up and diet I think are the main culprits for my break out. Too much of Mr Smirnoff and not enough Mr Volvic!
This being said, I am going to start taking better care of my skin. Meaning I am going to take my make up off properly and wash my face (this will be fun after a night out!) and put on spot cream, moisturiser or Bio Oil. I am also going to drink more water and eat less junk. Five a day and all that jazz.
My hair ...
I feel like I am always on here moaning about my hair!
I noticed in pictures that the ends of my hair are really dry and straw like - so not a good look - so I have booked myself in for a haircut on Friday and am going for the chop.
After this has been done I am going to start using a heat defence spray on a regular basis and not over styling my hair ie back combing till my hair can take no more!
I really want to go running but am self conscious about people seeing me but I have decided that life's too short and if I want to do it then I am going to, I don't care what people think really.
Anyways, that's all I had to say, thought I should put it in writing :D
Have a good week everyone.
Take Care x

Sunday 11 October 2009

Good girls go bad...

Right, I am going for a haircut this week and am unsure of what I want done - I know, it's totally not like me!
Anyways here are the options..
1. Claudia's shoulder length cut with a side fringe

2. Olivia's long, layered cut. Obviously I will get a trim but this will be what I am going for!
Also, how rockin' is her outfit!

Let me know what you think :D x

Anything that's worth having, sure enough worth fighting for...

Helllo...
I am trying to get back in blogging on a more regular basis - uni has been a touch busy. Had my first test that I didn't do too well in which I am annoyed with myself about but it has given me a reality check which is never a bad thing!
The title of this post is from Cheryl Cole's new song - I hate the song, think it's total pish but I like that line!
Hope everyone is well and had a good weekend.
Love Emma x

Sometimes love comes around and it knocks you down....

Helllo :D
I have been watching the new season of The Hills and I have to say it is SO good!
I loved it when Lauren was the main character but we are only on episode two and it is already uber exciting!
Fair enough it is a bit fake but it is entertaining!
Anyways, in episode two Audrina and Lo are doing a gig thing and Lo's outfit caught my eye.

I like the fact that it is dressy but not overly dressy because of the cardigan. She also has some gorgeous chandelier earrings on. I love Lo, a bit more than Lauren I think!
What every ones thoughts on Lo's outfit and the new season of the hills?
Hope everyone is well :D x

Sunday 27 September 2009

Tell you like it is with this kiss, baby when it drips from your lips

Thought I would do an ins and outs seen as I haven't in ages
and I am feeling a little bit bored :D
In ...
  • 3 for 2 in Boots on all hair care stuff. Didn't need to get another new bottle of hair spray but it would be rude not to!
  • Lazy days ... spend all day yesterday in bed. Partly because I felt unwell and partly because I am lazy. Got up eventually at half past four.
  • Strictly come dancing. The best thing on TV ha sweeping statement there. Loving it so far this year and it takes two. I love Claudia Winkleman!

... Out

  • The Cold. I would say Freshers' flu but freshers' week ended two weeks ago. Got a really sore throat and head but I will power through :P
  • Need a job uber badly! Anyone know of any part time work in Edinburgh, city centre preferred let me know :D
  • Needing a haircut really badly.

Hope everyone is well and has had a good weekend. x

Walk this way, talk this way

Helloo,

this is a little bit of a OOTN and an update on what's been happening. On Wednesday my friend from Glasgow came through for the night. We decided that it was only right if we got totally pished so we did. In fact we got so drink that we both threw up before retiring to our boudoirs :P
We had a good laugh which is the main thing. Had a lot of drinks at the flat then headed to Opium where we had a little bit more drink and a sing song then onto Cab Vol where we had even more drinks and a nice dance to walk this way.
Needless to say we were a touch rough in the morning but it was totally worth it :D
Anyways, I wore my black and red floral - me in a floral print, it has never been seen! - Topshop dress with some black leggings and some black and gold Primark flats with a Black quilted bag from Primark also.

Totally amazing night and even in my disgustingly drunken state I didn't loose a thing well apart from my dignity....

Have a good weekend :D x

Saturday 19 September 2009

I did my best to notice when the call came down the line....

helllooo ...

I thought I would start blogging about what I've been doing and incorporate some fashion stuff - if this goes terribly then this could be the first and last of these :) - so here goes :D

So I have been in Edinburgh for two weeks now, two weeks today to be exact. It actually feels like so much longer but it has gone really, really fast. My flatmates are all really nice and we all seem to get on. Only thing is that one girl doesn't really get my Glasgow humour and takes things that are jokes as me being a bitch ....

I'm not, that's just my cheeky west coast humour coming out ha I kid :p sort of ....

We've had some really good nights out, I would show you pictures but from going out almost every night I have four pictures from the one night! Here is one of me and a flattie in Shanghai - not keen on this place at all!

Some other places we've been if you know the Edinburgh area (LOL) . ... Stereo, Frankensteins, Karma, Cabaret Voltaire - loveddd this place! and we went on a pub crawl (went too many places for me to remember!). Can't think of anywhere else we have been.

One of my lovely Glasgow friends is coming through on Sunday so I think we are going to Opium and hopefully a more indie style place . . . everywhere we've been apart from one or two has been two dressy and worried about looks. Get me somewhere a bit dingy and everyone is keen for a good time!!

This isn't very interesting but I am kind of rushing ... me mother is coming through today and I am realllllly excited to see her so I need to get ready but am currently in a towel. Think we are going to the castle and for lunch so I might take a few piccies (no promises mind :P) Tonight I think we are doing the Edinburgh Dungeons and then me and Steven are painting the town Glaswegian ha I kid...

Have a good weekend, take care and let me know if this is even remotely interesting ha x

Friday 18 September 2009

I've been working awful hard for you...

Hello ...
Olivia Palermo has an enviable wardrobe and always seems like look effortlessly chic and put together. I saw this picture of her at an event and was instantly drawn to her orange-red jacket.
It has circular detailing that adds to the eye catching nature of the jacket. I like the fact that everything else has been kept really simple allowing the jacket to be the focus of attention.
x

Friday 11 September 2009

OO suits you sir...

I am sure I've used that post title before but I am too lazy to go check so I'm afraid it may be "oo suits you sir take two" :D
Anyways, while reading the Daily Mail I saw this picture of Kim Kardashian at an event. I love the fact that she has chosen to vear away from the usual long, beautiful dress and instead has gone for a tux jacket with skinny trousers and kept everything else simple.
The outfit is very elegant without being overly pretty or girlie - something that I really like about the outfit.
:D x

Thursday 10 September 2009

You were always on my mind....

Helllo :D
Not blogged in a while but I have been really busy with moving and then settling in also possibly a bit too much going out but whatever it's freshers after all!
I'm really enjoying Edinburgh so far, been to a few clubs (some I like better than others!) and am currently searching for a good indie club for when my friends from Glasgow come through to see me so if anyone has any recomendations they would be greatly appreciated :D
My classes start on Monday so hopefully once I have setteled in and got into a routine I will get back into doing regular posts etc.
Hope everyone is well and I will hopefully talk to all soon :D x

Wednesday 2 September 2009

It too late to apologize...

Hellloo ...
Sorry for my lack of posts recently but I've been realllly busy.
I have left my job (woooooo!) & had my leaving night which was sooo good and now I'm just packing to head to Eburgh on Saturday. Ahhh so excited lol.
I will post more soon I promise! I would post about my leaving night but I was disgustingly drunk - so much so that I can't remember a lot - and I only took 2 pictures the whole night so it would be pretty boring!
Hope everyone is well and having a good week :D x

Monday 24 August 2009

When she was 22, her future looked bright

I loveeeeee Lily's top - its bloody gorgeous! x

Thursday 20 August 2009

Its just what all young lovers do...

My investments for Autumn/Winter 09.
Statement Jewellery.
Big, chunky and colourful is what I will be keeping my eye's peeled for. A good example of statement jewellery is Olivia Palermo, she always has eye catching jewels - her will be a tad more expensive than mine, I think! Statement jewellery adds interest to simple pieces and means an outfit can be made to look different and new!
Leather Jackets.
Biker style is going to be a big trend for the season. You could go all out on stud detail for ultimate biker chic! Leather jackets can be dressed up or kept casual.
40s shapes.
Pencil skirts, shift dress. Basically, fitted, figure hugging pieces that show off curves to perfection. I love fashions from the 40s and 50s. Everything was so glamorous and chic, or at least in the movies it was! Think Jane Russell and Marlyn Monroe.
Knits.
Thin knits with chunky cardigans. Layering different textures is what I am planning on doing :D.
Lace Ups.
Lace up heels with attention to details for example: eyelets, tones and textures. I bought a pair last year from Topshop which I have worn once but I think this year I may wear more. They are in the style of a brogue but with a patent heel.
What is everyone else buying for Autumn/Winter? x

Who do you think you are?

Recently I have become obsessed with the BBC programme 'Who do you think you are?', I'm not sure why I just randomly watch it one night and got hooked!
For those that haven't seen it, celebrities research their family history and find out what happened to lost relatives or what they worked as or about marriages/relationships that took place during their lives.
Most of the time the celebrity research's a relative that their families no little off which can sometimes lead to very emotional episodes.
I have always been interested in history, I get it from my dad, I find it so interesting and fascinating. Watching this has made me wonder about my ancestry - we all have it after all! I know that I have a lot of family in New Zealand and Australia but that is about it really. I know other things like how people died and their occupations but apart from that I know little else. My surname is not Scottish and I would love to know how I ended up with this surname as from what I know my grandparents on my dad's side were Scottish.
Anyway, enough of this ramble!
Anyone else watched 'Who do you think you are?'?
Maybe one day, I will research my ancestry but for now I will leave it as a blank :) x

Wednesday 19 August 2009

if you should ever leave me, life would still go on believe me

Decisions, Decisions ...
You'll never guess what this post is about ... my hair! Another one, the joys!
I had a fringe cut back in recently but I don't like it. The fringe is too heavy and longer hair gets on my nerves so I am going in for the chop.
I have two styles in mind but am unsure on which to pick so I thought I would ask your opinion on it :)
Option 1: Claudia Winkleman
Basically, my hair would touch my shoulders and have some layers. It would be a middle part with a sort of fringe but it can be pushed to the side. I like this because the parting can be sort of random it doesn't have to be perfect plus the manageable :D
Option 2: Candie Payne

I was thinking this length and with a side instead of the middle part. I have a lot of hair and it is thick and has a lot of volume so I could achieve the look of her hair probably for nights out, it would be a bit much for everyday I think.
So what do we think option 1 or 2? x

Tuesday 18 August 2009

Devil is at the door, I'm thinking we've been here before now

OOTD...
It's a little boring because I am feeling really flat and blah and the minute. I don't know what it is but anyways, I'll get over it!
Today I wore.....
My Mango blazer with a v neck M&S tshirt and my New Look Skinnies (I will come onto Skinnies in a moment, bet the anticipation is killing you!) a gold cuff from Topshop and my red Topshop pumps, I had planned on wearing my Dune wedges but sadly it was not to be as it has rained all day :( sad times!

Thought I would put this in for the sheer craic of it! I wasn't ready but the camera was basically!
On to Skinnies ...
For a while I had been thinking that skinnies weren't incredibly flattering on me, I have big boobs & large hips, thighs and bum so basically they just highlighted the big-ness!
Skinnies are one of my favourite style of jeans, they work perfectly for day or night, dressy or casual but I don't see the point in me wearing them if a) they don't flatter my shape and b) I feel self conscious wearing them. Having said that I decided to do something productive (I use this word loosely, finding the perfect jeans isn't really solving a massive problem!) with my day.
I googled straight leg jeans and learned that they are basically the same as skinnies but have a wider hem. Skinnies tend to have a leg opening of 12/13 inches and straight legs have a leg opening of 14/15 inches. The wider the leg opening balances out the silhouette.
Basically, what this none sense ramble is about is the fact that I have to go jeans shopping for straight leg jeans and hopefully this will mean I will wear jeans more often .... we shall see :D
x

Sorry I don't know your real name, Winter Blossom at http://winterblossom7.blogspot.com/

Friday 14 August 2009

You were such a surprise, an unexpected gift said I was pretty & I believed it

OOTD ...
Today it is pouring, the rain hasn't stopped all day so its pretty rubbish!
Anyways, I put on a loose black top with my jeans this morning and a lilac cardigan but I didn't like it - I really cannot pull off baggy, loose stuff without a belt cinching it in so I changed :D
I put on a cream Topshop Tee with my black jersey cardigan and my patent H&M belt with my black jeans.
I wore my gold ball earrings, my floral Miss Selfridge bangle and two gold bangles.
My hair was getting on my nerves, it wasn't wavy or curly like it normally is naturally, it was just blah so I put it up. I don't normally wear my hair up but I kind of like it.
What did everyone else wear today? x

Shoe Lusting

I realllly want these shoes! Funny feeling I don't think I could afford them but a girl can dream....

Wednesday 12 August 2009

How do you get to find love, real love

OOTD ....
Most boring OOTD ever, I'm not doing much today so I just did the old jeans and vest top combo and threw on my blazer.
The only accessorize I wore was my big "diamond" ring from H&M.
Don't ask about the pose - its shocking!

Also, today I thought I would give my fringe another try see if I felt any differently about it and the verdict is ....

No, I still hate it so its going back to the side ASAP :D x

Friday 7 August 2009

I want it that way ...

I want my hair like thissss ... but a ickle longer! :D

Thursday 6 August 2009

Until the man of her dreams comes along picks her up and put her over his shoulder...

I ordered two things from Topshop.com - I was very restrained :D - I saw this skirt and fell in love, love at first site some may say :P
I thought it would be perfect for winter with black tights and a leather jacket. I tried it with leggings but I'm not really sure, think tights will looks better.

I also bought these satin brogues. I wasn't sure about them at first I thought they looked a little tap shoe-ish but I think they will be nice with the skirt and tights. Also with jeans folded up and a long cardigan.

My mum a really quirky dress sense when she was younger - something I don't have - but she loves them. Her way to describe them "very modern" so there you go :D

I'm going shopping today so I might get some more new stuff :D
x

Tuesday 4 August 2009

And here's where the sound of my tears hit the ground

OOTD ...

Today I wore my Topshop tunic with the elasticated waist - for some reason I feel like I am always on here wearing this o'well - I wore it with my pink Topshop cardigan that has detailing on the shoulders. Some black leggings and my long Accessorize necklace.
Also, this is my new hair! I'm not sure about it, I had a fringe last year and now I'm a bit fed up of it might wait a bit and get it cut shorter with a side fringe but we shall see :D
What did everyone else wear today? x

I'm never gonna dance again my guilty feet have got no rhythm

I haven't really been into Big Brother this year, I watch it every now and then and watch BBLB sometimes ( really just for George Lamb swooon :D )
Anyways, I really want a hat like Bea's. I love it, it is so cute and will be perfect for Winter. If anyone spies a red one I would sooo appreciate it if you could tell me where so far all I can find is coral but I want bright red :D
That's all really, not done much apart from have a omg I have lego hair panic ha
:D x

Monday 3 August 2009

When I was young, I never needed anyone

Helllo,
Thought I'd do a quick post before I go for a little nap :D
How was every ones weekends? Mine was alright - got me hair cut and handed in my notice at work yayyyy - got four weeks until I leave for Edinburgh woot woot.
I got my fringe back but now I'm thinking I might want my hair shorter not cropped shorter but a touch. Maybe once I'm sick of my fringe!
Anyways, this post is pretty pointless!
One thing before I go ....
How amazing does Lily Allen look at the launch of her jewellery line?
She has dark skinnys one with a corset and a dinner jacket. Oh and and teal heels - love it!
:D x

Thursday 30 July 2009

Six things

I was tagged by the lovely Sophie from http://lalalalobban.blogspot.com/ to write six things that make me happy and then tag six bloggers so here goes ...
1. Music ... I listen to music all the time! It is a massive part of my day, life is just boring without a tune ha
2. Fashion ... I love seeing pictures of pretty things and buying pretty things. Sounds a little materialistic but clothes make me happy!
3. Family and friends ... for obvious reasons really! I care about them and they care about me. We have ups and downs, have a laugh, sometimes a good drunken cry on the kitchen floor (friends only, bit strange to do that with my family ha)
4. Books ... I love reading and going to book shops. Geek features!
5. Taking pictures ... I like documenting things and looking back on the old times (haha)
6. Sunshine ... everyone is always happier when the suns out :D
I tag everyone and anyone! x

You said you loved me and thats a fact then you left me, said you felt trapped

OOTD ....
Today I am wearing my warehouse top/dress that I bought the other day. When I tried it on I wasn't so keen on it without a belt - it was just a bit shapeless so I added a patent black belt from H&M and my topshop cardi and leggings.
My face is coloured over because I add the worlds worst growler on ha funny stuff :D.
And just a random picture ....

I also look like I have no make up on ... but i do :D x

Wednesday 29 July 2009

Dancing is my remedy, remedy oh

Helllo ... I am so happy to say I am back home. I had been in St Andrews for a couple of days seeing the grandparents with my mum and auntie.
It was fun but was a tad boring after a day considering I had been a number of times before but hay ho!
A little snap of the West Sand (I think?!) beach in St Andys. I loveeee being at the beach, we went for a paddle. I have no clue why but I really love the ocean.

Sadly, I bought nothing while there. I couldn't find a single thing I really liked or wanted to buy so I left empty handed :(
To keep myself I amused I downloaded Little Boots album before I left and I really love it especially Remedy. Tuneeeee!
Seriously get yourself onto itunes and buy it :D
Anyways, I will be posting more regularly now hopefully :D x

Friday 24 July 2009

OOTD & More ....

OOTD ....
I wasn't going to post this because I don't really like the outfit. My hips/thighs look massive but its what I wore today so here we go ....
I'm wearing my Dorothy Perkins dress with Topshop leggings and a topshop cardigan. I wore simple black flats and used my Miss Selfridge "Chanel" bag.
I'm now off to get change coz I am not liking this - its one of those days!

New Purchases ....

I went out shopping this morning to return a bag to Warehouse and ended up swapping it for the dress/top that is in the last picture which I really love.

I think it was about £16, not too bad.

My mum wanted to have a look in Dune so we wandered in as the sale was on. As you may or may not know I have been searching for my holy grail wedge and I am pleased to report that I have found them ....

yayyyyyy :D

haha I got them in the Dune sale for £38.50 - weird price! reduced from £55 which is not a bad saving.

They are made up of two velvet strap and the part that goes around the back of your ankle is elastic. They are kind of hard to explain?!
I really love them, I got them in black but they come in a nude/beige colour as well which is pretty but they didn't have my size.
If anyone is looking for shoes I'd definitely check out the Dune sale, tis very good :D

So that's it, a not so good OOTD and some new stuff :D

Hope every ones having a good Friday.

Anyone bought any new stuff lately? I love seeing what people buy ha.

Take care x

I want it back ...

Thanks to these two (Erin Lucas and Dawn Porter) I realllly want my fringe back.
Hopefully I can get a hair appointment before I go away for a few days on Sunday night but we shall see could be a DIY job but maybe not last time I did this I was 10 or 11 and hacked my hair after coming out the shower. I told my mum it had shrunk in the shower! Ha best excuse ever!

I'm actually looking forward to the change from the side part and fringe. I will be back to it by December probably but I am fickle and enjoy change so I shall post when it is done :D
PS I love Dawn Porter - she is awesome! :D

In & Out Thirty One

Whats in for Tuesday ...
  • Dark nails ala Lily Allen.

I have seen so many pictures of her with dark nails that OPI Lincoln park after dark was the polish I reached for when I did my nails last night.

  • Warehouse.

No clue why but I am loving it at the moment. There and Gap, normally I am a total Topshop girl but not of late. I think its because everyone seems to get stuff out of there and everyone wears the same stuff which is a tad boring.

  • The Maccabees

Can't stop listening to them just now. Don't know why, apart from because obviously I think they are good and like their music. Plus Felix is hottttt ;)

Whats out for Tuesday ...
  • Rubbish Weather

It has rained all day ... how rubbish is that? Not impressed at all.

  • 17 Pressed powder

Its was cheap and it is rubbish! It is really powdery and kind of cakey on my face - not a good look. Much prefer my MSF natural :D

Brilliant Brights

Apologies for the rubbish post name ... Brilliant brights was the best I could come up with *hangs head in shame*
I am not ashamed to admit that I have a total girl crush on Lily Allen!
Seriously though, I do think she is amazing. Her clothes, some of her music. I'm just a big fan really.
I saw this picture in a magazine at work so when I got home I had a little Google and found it.

She is at the Cafe De Paris in London and is wearing the most amazing dress ever! ha exaggerated ... nah!
The colour is so gorgeous and vibrant, it really sets off her skin tone and dark hair. The dress is an amazing shape, kind of 80s but not really. I get the 80s feel from the shoulders. Anyways, to me it is a stunning dress that I would be happy to wear myself.
Wardrobe envy!!!

While searching for the first picture I came across this picture and was drawn in by Kelly Osbourne's orange clutch. I am on a total orange kick at the moment - don't ask why, I have no clue! It is a beautiful bag!

I like how Kelly has kept everything else really simple, meaning the bag is the focal point and really stands out.

It also has a quirky shape, I think it is bow shaped?! Either way it is amazing!

Opinions please.... Lily's dress & Kelly's bag?

The good and the not so good ....

The Good....
How cute is Lo's dress?
I love it. Its really pretty and summery, the blue bag sets the colours in the dress off perfectly. Its gorgeous!

The bad ...
I'm sorry but it looks like Rachel Bilson is wearing gold tin foil. She normally looks amazing - lady like and stylish - this is just gross!
What does everyone think about Lo and Rachel's outfits? x

TAG: Tell me something

The lovely Tabitha from http://tabitha-sheridan.blogspot.com tagged me to do this so here we go ....
1. What is your favourite item of clothing?
Jeans maybe or a blazer. Either of those or summer dresses. I got through fazes of liking stuff and then not being so keen on it.
2. What are your biggest obsessions?
Em .... my hair?! I am forever touching it. I have got so used to touching it that I don't even notice that I'm doing it. Clothes as well, I have so much stuff, most of which I don't even wear!
3. Who inspires you?
No one person in particular. There are loads of qualities in people that I love and hope to have and there are other qualities that I really hope I don't have. I guess I would say people around me and that I am closest too. In a fashion sense, people on the street and celebrities to a certain extent.
4. Who is your favourite designer and why?
Chloe or Chanel. Chloe is so feminine and girly. Chanel is classic, chic and doesn't really over complicated pieces.
5. What is your favourite song ever?
I don't really have one specific song that is my all time favourite. I like a lot of older stuff and loads of recent stuff. My favourites would be songs that have memories for me - good or bad.
6. What is your favourite song right now?
The Maccabees - can you give it.
7. If you were sweetie what would it be?
Something hard on the outer but soft and nice on the inside. That sounds weird but I tend to put on a front and pretend to be stronger and less easily hurt than I really am. What chocolate would that be? Can't think of anything specific ha :p
8. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet- what words would describe your rainbow?
Red - favourite colour! colour of love, like a bit of love.
Orange - Similar to coral?! Rimmel Tangerine queen nail polish... gorgeous :D
Yellow - Bright and happy. How I tend to be, apparently.
Green - ......
Blue - bluebells. Spring time
Indigo - Skinny jeans. Denim stuff! ha
Violet - Violet creams. My mums favourite sweet, reminds me of her :)
9. Whats your favourite film?
Gentlemen prefer blondes, Some like it Hot, The Mummy. Anything with Hugh Jackman swooooon <3
10. Who's your favourite actor?
Not really got one. Hugh Jackman for the sexy factor?!
11. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be ?
On holiday, on a beach with a cocktail :D
12. What are your three favourite smells?
Chloe perfume, clean bedsheets (weird!) and men - like aftershave on them, not just men in general haha
13. What are your three favourite tastes?
Doritos blue crisps, vodka + peach schnapps + lemo and roast dinners.
14. What is your most treasured possession?
My Granny's jewellery. Stuff with sentimental value or memories. Means more than possessions.
15. What did you always want to do/be when you grew up?
teacher, explorer (?!), police women ... loads of things. Still don't know what I want to be ha
16. If you were an ice cream what flavour would you be?
Vanilla. Simple but can be made a bit more exciting ha.
17. If someone made a short film of your life, who would play you?
I've been told I look like Saskia from Big Brother a few years back but apart from that I don't know really lol.
18. What would your perfect afternoon consist of?
Having a laugh with friends, just having a good time with people I love really.
19. If you were a flower, what would you be?
A late bloomer ha. A rose maybe?!
20. Tell me a random thing....be it your favourite line from a song, scene from a movie or quote from a book.....tell me about something that you love.....
I love Adele's song daydreamer. Especially, this bit "Daydreamer, with eyes that make you melt He lends his coat for shelter because he's there for you when he shouldn't be But he stays all the same, waits for you and then sees you through There's no way I could describe him All I say is, just what I'm hoping for" I'm not sure why - I guess its coz its what I'm hoping for aswell ?! ha cheesy!

Yay or nay?

Anyone else think that Scarlett looks a bit like a secretary at the Mango launch?

She looked amazing in the promo pictures she shot for Mango but I'm not so keen on this. I mean its nice but its a bit blah! Also, the high neckline makes her looks extremely top heavy in my opinion.

What does everyone else think? x

A few bits & Pieces

I went to shopping and picked up a few bits so here goes ...
I went to Boots and got some Dove summer glow because I had ran out. I also got Rimmel Tangerine queen nail polish - so bright and summery :D I wanted to try out a cheaper powder and concealer seen as I'm feeling a tad strapped for cash so I looked at the 17 stuff. I picked up the pressed powder in neutral and the hide away concealer on medium. I will let you know how I get on with these. As I bought two 17 products I got a free make up bag with a little mirror, nail file, polish and metallic pencil inside. The pencil is gorgeous <3

My mum treated me to a M&S leather weekend bag for doing well at college etc so I picked the red one. It looks really cheap in the photo but I assure you its real leather and not cheap looking! ha I really love it, all I need now is somewhere to go!

Finally, I got this orange and white striped v-neck tee from Gap for £2.99 - total bargain!!
That's was all I got - wasn't in the mood to shop around really. I think I may be sick! ha
